Presenting at eLearning DevCon 2008

EXTENDED ACCEPTANCE DATE: We are accepting submissions until April 7, 2008.

Our original proposal acceptance date has passed. However, we are still looking to select a few additional presentation proposals on advanced elearning development topics. As a reference, some topics that have been selected in past years for the advanced segment of the audience are:

  • Three Different Approaches to eLearning Architecture in Adobe Flash
  • An Introduction to Flash ActionScript 3
  • Flash ActionScript Object Oriented Programming
  • Building PC and MAC Applications Using Flash and Zinc
  • Flash Interactive Gaming Simulation
  • Flash Server Communication (BYOL - Bring Your Own Laptop)
  • Hands-on Mobile Learning (BYOL)
  • Building an Ajax Application (BYOL)

NOTE: Preference will be given to presenters with more than one submission. Our ideal presenter will present on two or three different, excellent topics.

Presentation Agreement

Presentations at e-Learning DevCon 2008 are governed by these terms:

  • Each presentation will be scheduled for two different 1-hour sessions.
  • If your presentation is selected, you will receive one complimentary conference registration package which includes meals for the entire conference.
  • Travel to and from the conference and lodging while attending the conference is the responsibility of the presenter.
  • All materials used in your presentation (sample files, outlines, handouts, slides, etc) must be made available to Rapid Intake in an electronic format prior to the conference. Materials of a proprietary nature may be excluded.
  • The files from your presentation will be made available to all conference attendees and may be distributed at Rapid Intake’s discretion following the conference.
  • Sessions presented at eLearning DevCon 2008 may be recorded.
  • As a presenter, some of your personal information will be included in conference materials. Information that will be included: name, organization, bio and email address.

Your proposal submission is your acceptance of the above Presentation Agreement terms.

As a Thank You

In appreciation for your willingness to present, if your presentation proposal is submitted and accepted by April 7, 2008, we will provide you with the following:

  • Complimentary pass to the conference, all meals included

How to Submit

To submit your presentation proposal, send an email to garinhess@rapidintake.com with the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Session Title
  • Session Description
  • Speaker Description (Bio)
  • Prerequisites required for the participants
  • Indicate whether this is for beginners, intermediate, or advanced e-learning developers
