"Thanks again to you and your fabulous team for hosting this one of a kind conference and trust me, I plan to tell anyone and everyone that will listen (and do what we do) about this forum."

We are now accepting presentations to present at eLearning DevCon 2009.
As in our previous events (this is eLearning DevCon's sixth year), we have organized this conference with three rules in mind:
This unique approach has met with resounding approval from the previous participants. Here is just one of the dozens of positive comments made by those who attended previously (read other testimonials at the end of this message).
"Just want to say THANKS, it was great! We were so energized by the conference, we can't wait to start trying some of the new things we learned... DevCon...was by far the best conference I've ever attended for learning practical applications that can be put into use right away. I came away with the 'how-to' and not just theory." L.S. from Cuna Mutual
This comment underscores what we look for in presentations, how-to and not just theory. If you've done it, or know how to do it, chances are other e-learning developers like you want to know too

Other Tips for Having your Presentation Selected
The 2008 event will be held at historic Fort Douglas on the beautiful campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. This site was the location of the 2002 Winter Olympics athlete facilities. We are excited about this location because it will allow us to improve upon the already great value of this conference, without increasing the price.
The conference registration fee includes all meals beginning with breakfast on Monday, (July 14) and ending with lunch on Wednesday, (July 16). Registration for any of the conference pre-workshops also includes meals. All dining will be provided in the Heritage Center, which offers a wide variety of choices. They include a hot entree bar, vegan bar, soup and salad bar, sandwich bar, pizza bar, grill, and desert bar. This facility was built for the 2002 Winter Olympic athletes.
For lodging, you can stay in the very nice University Guest House hotel ($75/night) or you can stay in the residence halls as a part of your registration fee for an even less expensive option ($45/night single room; $35/night double room). If you are interested in a full service hotel, the Marriott University Park is located about 2 miles from the conference. The campus shuttle can take you to and from the Marriott. For more information on lodging see the lodging information page .
Most of the conference sessions will be held in the University Guest House hotel and the historic Officers Club next door. The University Guest house, Officers Club, residence halls, the Heritage Center and other facilities are located within easy walking distance of each other. But if you would like to explore campus a bit more, a free shuttle can take you anywhere on campus. Also, a light-rail TRAX station is located right next to the conference facilities. In just a few minutes you can be in downtown Salt Lake City. If you want to explore the beautiful Wasatch Mountains which are close by, you will need your own transportation.
All conference facilities are located 20 minutes from the Salt Lake City International airport.
